Into The Shadow Festival 6.0 - Day 2
Festival | Day 2 | stoner | €75,-
Weird Omen (FR)
Five LP’s and seven singles in, Weird Omen from France still evade direct comparisons to… anyone!!
This atypical line up trio, spits his unique primitive garage, a deluge of trash brass, reverb and fuzzzzz. A cryptic-hypnotic garage trance, blend of dented 60’s tones and hollow psychedelic néo-garage. Raw, mesmerizing, and delightfully derailed.
Castle (US)
Formed in 2009, CASTLE from San Francisco plays heavy metal with a healthy dose of occult doom rock and psychedelic riffs. Their sound is steady but powerful, like the perfect pump up tune for Conan riding into battle. There’s also something to the sound of CASTLE that makes it seem simple, back to basics, the band needs no bells and ribbons to achieve any effects. The peculiarity of the sound this band displays is how unedited it sounds, it feels as if recorded straight to tape without anyone fidgeting about. No layers of distortion piling up, just the sound of the instruments doing the work, enriched with the powerful voice of the very energetic singer.
They released their first album "In Witch Order" on Germany's Van Records in 2011. Since then the band has released 4 more albums including "Blacklands" which was nominated for a Canadian Juno for Best Metal Record in 2012. CASTLE played over 700 shows already and is the real deal live. Their latest release “Carrie Chains” dates from September 2026 and brings the band back on the road for a return to Europe in 2027.
Suecide High (BE)
Suecide High is a raw heavy rock band from the Benelux underground. Formed just a year ago, they quickly built a strong live reputation through shows at Magasin 4, Kinky Star, Djingel Djangel and Bosuil, sharing stages with Brant Bjork and Valley of the Sun.
Their sound blends gritty 70’s-inspired heavy rock, dirty stoner grooves and punk energy into sharp, stripped-down songs driven by primal riffs and pure impact. Lyrically, the band delivers a lucid and grounded vision of today’s world — dark, direct and ironic, focused on human contradictions rather than rock clichés. The lineup features Fabrice Giacinto (Romano Nervoso), Charly Cornez (Criminal Animal), Stéphane Panozzo (Nehal) and Renaud Mayeur (La Muerte, Triggerfinger, Hulk, Dario Mars). Recently signed to M&O Music, with physical distribution by Suburban (NL) and promotion through Noisolution (DE).
No nostalgia. No gimmicks.
Just rock stripped to the bone.
Spaceship Landing (DE)
After a hiatus Spaceship Landing is back for a special reunion show at Into The Shadow 6.0 and will take us on a sweet trip through outer space. Be prepared for a mind-blowing psychedelic catharsis.
With their outrageous, hypnotising and punchy self-released, limited debut album from 2006 the German spacerockers set a huge exclamation point and were one of the biggest hopes in the psychedelic-heavy-doom-jam Rock scene. They got booked by the most important Festivals like Roadburn (NL) and Stoned from the Undergroud (DE) and left a really convincing and still lasting impression.
The musical intention is heavily leaned on the jam krautrock of the early 1970s, predominantly epic, passionately played, and heated up by hard driven vintage fuzz/wahwah of guitar riffs and a massively marching rhythm section. Their psychedelic improvisations from partly far over 10 mins leave also the place for experimental passages with spherical organ / sax / guitar-sound-effects to generate intense, original and multi-faceted sound pictures and atmospheres.
Massue (FR)
Massue was created in the winter of 2023. Born from the dark streets of Rouen, FRANCE. Louis, Noah and Chris bring out a music that’s as heavy and fast yet crushing and doom. Expect a real experience between sludge and death/doom.
Mt. Echo (NL)
This three piece from Nijmegen the Netherlands excels in instrumental postrock. For every dark riff there is a sparkling melody. This description hits the nail on the head. The instrumental rock of Mt. Echo is loud, dark and yet also tuneful. The three band members complement each other with dissonant melodies, rhythm changes and ominous soundscapes.
