Madmess (PT)
Emerging from the heart of Porto around 2017, Madmess created a unique sound in the realm of heavy psychedelic rock. Drawing inspiration from the iconic sounds of the 70s, their music transports listeners on a mind-altering voyage. Join them on this mesmerizing quest, where they continue to push the boundaries of sonic exploration through unknown dimensions. From 2017, Madmess slowly but steadily carved their place in the European heavy psych underground scene.
After their ST/EP released in 2019, the band released their first full length album Rebirth in 2021, via Hassle Records (UK), which deepened their language and expanded their dynamic range in the realm of heavy psych rock. Thick riffs, steady grooves and long breathing structures, defined a record that felt built to last. A statement of a band that honors the roots of the genre but refuses to be trapped by its rules. The evolution continues with The Third Coming, the band’s most recent record. Released via Glory or Death (USA), Kozmik Artifactz/ gig.ROCKS! (EU), the record carries Madmess further down their path. Songs like Death by Astonishment and Hazy Morning move with confidence and clarity, embracing classic rock spirit while keeping a psychedelic edge, sharp and alive.
Their live intensity and uncompromising sound took them to some of the scene’s most respected European festivals, including Arctangent (UK), Sonic Blast (PT), Sonic Whip (NL), Freak Valley (DE), Krach am Bach (DE), Hoflaerm Open Air (DE), Red Smoke (PL) as well as some of Europe's biggest showcase festivals like Monkey Week (ES), Reeperbahn (DE) and Viva Sounds (SW) in 2025.
The fourth album is in the making and Madmess will treat us with new material and cherished gems from the past at Into The Shadow 6.0.
Expect volume, sweat and electricity. Madmess speaks when the amplifiers are on.
69 Charger (NL)
Eindhoven’s finest garage rock ‘n roll band 69 Charger started at the end of the last century with the release of their first single “I’ve got a feeling” - a song about a feeling that good things were to come, and that certainly became reality. The band played hundreds of shows for excited crowds in the Netherlands and Europe, released three albums and a handful of 7” and 10” records. They shared the stage with kindred spirits like the Dwarves, 9 Pound Hammer, Cosmic Psychos, Supersuckers, Zeke, and many more.
Now, after a 15 year long hiatus, 69 Charger is back. The band is featured on the soundtrack of the Netflix movie White Noise - released worldwide in December ‘22, by director Noah Baumbach and starring Adam Driver.
Like the legendary car they’re named after, 69 Charger is known for it’s straight-line speed and looks. And now, restored and tuned, 69 Charger is back in action - it’s engine performing better than ever, giving the competition a run for their money again.
Kozmotron (BE)
KOZMOTRON is a Belgian spacerock band on a mission since earth year 2013. The sonic starcruiser Kozmotron was groovily truckin along on its voyage beyond event horizon. It was just passing by an obscure body in the SK system, referred to by the inhabitants as planet “Earth”, when for reasons unknown, the ship’s diatonic propulsion unit suffered catastrophic failure. The kozmonauts found themselves stranded on a weird blue planet, without any means of phoning home. Kozmotron’s releases are of alien proportions and their gigs easily go beyond earthly dimensions of time. Support your local alien underground!
