Coilguns
Coilguns groeide de DIY-hardcorescene uit en ontwikkelde een geheel eigen mix van punk en euforische noise-rock. Ze staan bekend om hun rauwe, compromisloze en euforische liveshows, gemaakt voor dansende freaks en buitenbeentjes. Deze optreden is de enige release-show die Coilguns doet voor hun vijfde studio-album.
Hun album Odd Love uit 2024 markeerde een keerpunt en leidde tot hun meest uitgebreide tour ooit, meer dan 85 shows wereldwijd in 2025. Aangewakkerd door deze zichtbaarheid schreven en namen ze meteen een vijfde album op. Eerste single 'Peace Trader' verscheen 24 april, 'Carbon Magic' volgde op 5 juni.
Coilguns klinkt als rauwe, extatische noise-rock die je omverwerpt.
Haatdrager
HAATDRAGER is a 6-piece heavyweight sludge band from Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Using underground hip hop and electronic elements, drawing inspiration from acts like LLNN,
Indian, BACKXWASH, Dälek, Steen and Haxan Cloak. Firmly rooted in a tradition of honouring the
slow riff, HAATDRAGER pushes this into atmospheric territory with wobbly, screeching
synthesizers and ethereal clean guitars. This forms the basis for music producer Roy Broeren to
add his unique twisted live electronics, only to be topped off with vocalist Roos Woertman's
screams of despair.
That suffocating atmosphere is the foundation for a heartbreaking narrative about the
psychological torment addiction inflicts on those who live with it and on the people around them.
Lyricists Roos Woertman and Jeroen van den Noordt are torn between love and anger,
compassion and revulsion. They express that conflict best in their native Dutch.
They aim for emotional release and for opening up conversations about addiction, and what it
does to the people around them.
