State:Chaos

"A delightful mixture of melodic thrash and death metal" is what Dutch STATE:CHAOS produces since their start in early 2006. STATE:CHAOS was born as a simple mind spin of guitarist Mischa and eventually raised together with well experienced co-musicians from amongst others Callenish Circle and Desensitised into a thrash bashing death machine.

By the end of 2006, STATE:CHAOS recorded a four track promo entitled "Ashes Of Misery" together with Mangled producer Erwin Hermsen to attract the attention of fans, labels and media. Mission succeeded; when numerous enthusiastic reactions and promising reviews returned to the band. Since than the band has played a large list of shows, including large outdoor festivals like Elsrock and Urpop, and appeared as support for bands like Impious and The Haunted.

Early 2009 STATE:CHAOS recorded their first full length album "Chaos || Pain || Despair" at the PITstudios. Mixed and mastered by Textures mastermind Jochem Jacobs, the album shows a mature band delivering the new wave of Dutch thrash metal. For fans of bands like Hatesphere, Slayer, In Flames and Testament a must have.

By the end of 2009 drummer Martijn decides to leave the band to join the grinders of Cliteater, which he felt more close to his roots to. A short time later STATE:CHAOS finds a perfect replacement in Richie, who brings more opportunities and variety with his experience in poly rhythms and fast double-bass drumming.

Shortly after, the band signs with English label Casket Music for the world-wide release of "Chaos || Pain || Despair", which saw the light of day in March of 2011.
Now as a solid line-up STATE:CHAOS will blow your mind with their unique blend of crushing thrash and melodic death metal!
